Eric Tellier first did a master in engineering at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. He then graduated in medicine in 2014 in Bordeaux, France. He has been studied since 2013 the epidemiology of drownings and the risk prediction along the south-western coast of France.
He has a PhD from the University of Bordeaux in the Bordeaux School of Public Health, and is an emergency physician at the Bordeaux teaching hospital. His work focuses on prediction model and evaluation of prevention strategy and extends the epidemiology to other wave-related injuries.
