Dr Jenny Page is a senior lecturer and chartered psychologist based at the University of Chichester. Jenny’s research focuses on visual attention and eye movements. Her most recent projects have examined the surveillance process of beach lifeguards, in collaboration with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and the University of Portsmouth and pool lifeguards in collaboration with Royal Lifesaving UK (RLSS UK and the University of Portsmouth). Specifically this research has examined the impact of expertise effects, instruction sets, communication, prescribed scanning, and fatigue on hazard perception.
