Nathalie Martin, M.A., is a communications executive renowned for her expertise in developing and leading strategic initiatives for both internal and external communications, including executive and business strategy communications, PR issues management, media relations, and community relations.
As the founder of the Swim Global Project, Nathalie has led numerous water safety and drowning prevention initiatives across North and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. With over 30 years dedicated to global drowning prevention, her efforts have significantly advanced water safety education through impactful programming and advocacy. Her work includes strategic grant-making, philanthropy, and innovative use of technology and communication strategies.
Nathalie is a committed volunteer and distinguished member of the Lifesaving Society, Canada, honored with a Service Bar by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario for her contributions. She co-founded the US Drowning Research Alliance and is an active member of the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) and the Royal Life Saving Society Commonwealth (RLSSC). Her mission is to foster a global movement for water safety, known for her strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
