Benjamin is a lecturer in psychology and cognitive scientist at the University of Chichester. His research focuses on applying
visual and cognitive psychology to understand the contributors of successful performance in lifeguards. Ben’s most recent
research, in collaboration with Royal Lifesaving Society UK (RLSS UK) and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI),
focuses on exploring the psychological factors and neurocognitive processes that facilitate sustained drown detection
vigilance performance.
