I am a Danish paramedic and Project Manager at the Prehospital Centre, Region Zealand, with affiliations to ZUPREME (Zealand Unit for Prehospital Research and Emergency Medicine) and the Prehospital Research Unit in the Region of Southern Denmark. I hold a Master of Public Governance and have more than 20 years’ experience in EMS and emergency care.

My expertise includes prehospital and EMS response to drowning, resuscitation and post-resuscitation care, and strengthening data quality through registry-based methods and linkage. My research focuses on drowning, prehospital care, and patient outcomes, with a strong quantitative and implementation-oriented perspective. I collaborate with TrygFonden’s Unit on Drowning Research and national water-safety stakeholders, and I have contributed to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations within emergency and prehospital medicine.

As an IDRA Collaborator Member, I aim to contribute to global knowledge-sharing and joint projects by analysing prehospital pathways for drowning patients, supporting data quality improvement, and translating evidence into practice through education, system development, and cross-sector collaboration.

I hold a paramedic degree / license from the USA (National Registred Paramedic – NRP)
I hold a master’s degree in public management (MPG) from a Danish university.
I am current a PhD student at the University of Southern Denmark.
