I am a professional firefighter at the Firemen Company Setubal Saples and I live in Lisbon. Since 2017, I integrate the Aquatic Media Intervention Group, acting as a diver, a rescue vessel conductor and aquatic rescue trainer. With extensive experience in aquatic saving, I have actively contributed to the enhancement of salvage operations. Also, since 2012, I have been working as a lifeguard and lifeguard coordinator on beaches, pools and events in Lisbon and Setubal.

I am accredited trainer in Basic Life Support, External Automatic Defibrillation, and minister first aid courses, including salvage in drowning cases. I own a degree in Physical Education and Sports, a Masters in Sports Training in high sports yield and a graduate degree in Civil Protection. Currently, I am conducting a doctoral in Human Motricity, with a major in Physical Exercise and Health, focused on tactical athletes.

My career is devoted to drowning prevention and training professionals for intervention in aquatic emergencies. With an ongoing commitment to safety and public health, I also act as a consultant in the field of safety and health at work.
