Nina Nyitrai, B Soc,Sc. – Australia

Nina’s background education is Human Movement & Recreation and she is currently completing her PhD in Aquatic Education: Drowning Prevention (through the University of Newcastle Australia). She has been involved in Aquatic Education as a lifeguard and instructor since 1980. Since the late 1990’s, Nina has increased her involvement in Aquatic Education though her work as a Pool Lifeguard Trainer for the Australian Royal Life Saving Society (RLSSA) and a Presenter (Teacher Trainer) for AUSTSWIM. Increasing the acceptance and understanding of evidence based practise within the grassroots aquatic activities of everyday people is her continuing goal.
