Teresa is Research & Development Manager at WaterSafe Auckland in New Zealand. The key goal of this role is to develop research to inform the educational delivery for water safety. Teresa is both an aquatic practitioner and a participant – from a competitive swimming and surf life-saving background, she is a qualified swim teacher, has held positions with Surf Life Saving as Northern and New Zealand Education Officer and with Sport North Harbour as project coordinator. Together with Dr Kevin Moran, Teresa has had a number of research articles published. Teresa is currently enrolled at the University of Auckland undertaking a doctoral degree through the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
